Connex Education are this week celebrating the announcement of being awarded the Quality Mark following a long period of consultation with the REC.
The Quality Mark is a joint venture between the Department for Education and Skills and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation to help ensure the highest standards.
This award is not only great news for us at Connex, but also for those much valued teachers, teaching assistants and nursery staff who work on behalf Connex. Our new status as a REC approved agency will enable us to provide our supply staff with an even wider range of schools and nurseries.
The award of the Quality Mark status for Connex Education is recognition of the companies efforts in achieving the highest levels of vetting for its supply staff and is the culmination of a 12 month process and a stringent audit by the REC.
Mark Beedles, Managing Director of Connex, commented: "We are delighted to be awarded the Quality Mark, we place the safety of children and the suitability of our staff as our highest priority and are delighted to receive this recognition for our ongoing efforts."
The award of the Quality Mark comes hot on the heels of the company’s recent link up with the children’s charity Kidscape in September 2007.
Brenda Stafford, Project Manager for Kidscape commented: "The award of the Quality Mark to Connex is fantastic news and reaffirms their commitment to the safety, well being and education of children. We hope this will help Connex continue to expand their service to schools and in turn raise awareness and funding for Kidscape."
