We regularly run schemes to help provide our schools with much needed equipment and we regularly work in partnership with charities that benefit the welfare of children. Our present Charity is Whizz Kidz, who help disabled children, believing as we do, that every child has the right to a normal active life.

As a company we strategically plan charitable fund raising for Whiz Kidz, with an upcoming event scheduled this July that will involve staff from up and down the country taking part.

Rather than working reactively we plan forward to help our causes, for example staff recently ran a half marathon in the Birmingham area to support their SEN schools.  We had already committed to matching the money raised within our “paying it forward” activities.

Other planned support this year is with the new Enterprise Award scheme in Liverpool.  We have agreed to be headline sponsors of this award to help take it beyond Liverpool to other cities, believing that supporting enterprise is vital to the future economic stability of our country. Other schemes see Connex Education sponsoring Teacher of the Year awards in November this year.

Connex are further looking to add value to its strategic partnerships moving forward, believing that collaborative working will benefit the education sector for all.
