Our Mission Statement

we strive to make a positive contribution to the education of pupilsAt Connex Education
we strive to make a positive contribution to the education of pupils by providing schools with professional, dedicated and accountable supply specialists. We seek to recruit the very best staff and provide a cost effective service on which schools Connex Education. can trust and depend.

About Connex Education

Connex Education was founded in January 2003 and initially formed by a collaboration of qualified teachers and recruitment specialists. Since then we have established ourselves as a market leader by providing a simple formula of education expertise, high levels of customer service and competitive charge rates.

Our success is based upon the stringent vetting of candidates, and establishing close relationships with our schools in order to ensure we continue to meet the needs of both our clients and teachers.

Connex firmly believe the provision of supply staff should contribute to the development and education of the children in their care. We continually monitor feedback on our staff to ensure that they are meeting the standards required by Connex and the schools with which we work.

We have an extensive database of Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Nurses, SEN specialists and Teaching Instructors which enables us to provide schools with access to local and effective classroom practitioners.
As a result Connex is already the first port of call for many schools nationwide, while others work exclusively with us for all their supply needs.

Our goal is simple and unique: we aim to provide the UK’s finest service to both schools and supply staff, whilst ensuring that we keep costs to schools to a minimum.
In addition to this, Connex also regularly runs schemes to help provide our schools with much needed equipment, and we regularly work in partnership with charities that benefit the welfare of children.

In March 2008 Connex was awarded with the prestigious Quality Mark, which is a joint initiative between the DCSF and the REC (The Recruitment and Employment Confederation). The Quality Mark sets standards for agencies to reach in the way they recruit and interview staff, how they check and manage their staff and the way they stay at the forefront of changes in the teaching sector.
Our commitment to these standards was underlined in January 2010 when Connex passed a spot check audit carried out by the REC with 100% compliance.
