Why choose to do temporary supply teaching?
There are many reasons why Teachers choose to work on supply, for some its an excellent way to gain greater variety in their working life by working in different schools. While for some it’s the flexibility of being able to choose when they work while for others it is a way of broadening their experience and helping them find a permanent job.

Will the school set work?
On most occasions when a school books supply then planning will be in place and work will be set however this will not always be the case. Some supply may be to cover short notice staff absence so we always ask our staff to carry teaching resources with them appropriate to the year groups that they teach as a back up option.
I only have a degree, no PGCE, can I work in primary as a teacher?
Unfortunately not. We do require all candidates to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be registered with the GTC.
How do I contact Connex?
Our offices are open from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and we are open throughout the school holidays. Outside of these hours we also operate emergence on-call service so one of our consultants can be contacted should the need arise or our clients wish to make a booking with us.
