We are currently seeking Children’s Residential Support Workers to take on flexible shift-based work around the Kingswinford area. Supporting vulnerable young people aged between 8 and 18 years old, the successful applicants for this position will have the chance to choose their own availability and take control of their work-life balance. The children you will be working with have SEN such as ASD or SLD and you will be responsible for contributing towards their care in accordance with individual care plans. Key duties in these positions include keeping young people safe from harm and promoting their independence.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
– A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Residential Support Worker
– Experience working alone and dealing with challenging behaviour
– A relevant social care qualification (required) and physical intervention qualification (desired)
– A current DBS or willingness to obtain one through Connex
– A clean driving licence with access to a car (essential)
