SEND Schools in the Kings Heath area are looking for a SEN/SEND teaching assistant with experience in working with pupils with SEN and SEND needs. Initially the school are looking to appoint on an ongoing temporary basis in September 2020, but this role has potential to become permanent at the end of the academic year.
The school are looking for someone who is able to commit either short/long term, to help support different age groups and enriching their lives and learning.
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to:
– Working in a caring and safe environment and reflecting upon the school’s priority of providing pupils with utmost care.
– Continuously raising standards for our pupils and improving their learning and living and develop positive relationships with the community around them.
– Being well organised, proactive, resourceful and energetic.
You must have strong experience working with a range of ages and needs, you will be confident and have exposure of working with EBD / MLD / SLD / PMLD and the Autism Spectrum. The school places high importance on meeting the needs of every child and working closely with all stakeholders to ensure each child is happy, comfortable and learning a variety of skills.

All applicants must have at least 6 months experience of working with SEND Pupils.
