I am currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of working with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. The school is based close to Handsworth Wood and require a SEN Teaching Assistant to work 3 days a week, from September until August 2021. Working across a range of year groups (Key Stage 1 – Key Stage 2).
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to:
– Working in a caring and safe environment and reflecting upon the school’s priority of providing pupils with utmost care.
– Continuously raising standards for our pupils and improving their learning and living and develop positive relationships with the community around them.
– Being well organised, proactive, resourceful and energetic.
You must have strong experience working with a range of ages and needs, you will be confident and have exposure of working with SEMH and the Autism Spectrum. The school places high importance on meeting the needs of every child and working closely with all stakeholders to ensure each child is happy, comfortable and learning a variety of skills.
All applicants must have at least 6 months experience of working with SEND Pupils.
