Specialist SEN Teacher for 1:1 support

Connex education requires a Teacher who has extensive experience within a special needs school to work on a 1:1 basis with a student who needs extra support due to Asperger’s Syndrome (AS). The student needs support with his ability to communicate and development in basic life skills. Experience working with similar students is vital. This student is currently out of full-time education as he is awaiting a place at a special needs school therefore the sessions will take place at the student’s home, 5 days mornings per week. As a home tutor it is expected you will cover the core subjects. (Working times negotiable, will be between 9am – 6pm. 25 hours Per week)

– Driving license (Preferred)
– An outstanding teacher with high expectations
– Restraint training (Preferred)
– Valid DBS which is ideally on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one
