We’re currently seeking Children’s Residential Support Workers to help meet the increasing demand for staff in a range of children’s homes across Dudley.
To fill these vacancies, we’re recruiting several new candidates who can work flexibly and adaptably in new environments. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing care to young people aged between 8 and 18 years of age (many with SLD or ASD), working in accordance with care plans to keep clients safe from harm, support their development, and promote their independence.
Part time and full time shifts are both available during the day and night as well. This means that that, as a Connex registered Support Worker, you will be able to effectively manage your work-life balance.
In order to be eligible for this position in Dudley, you must have:
– At least 12 months of previous experience working with young people in supported housing
– A relevant social care qualification or training
– A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
– A clean driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential.
